NEWS – With Apple announcing new Apple Watches last week, it’s no surprise that several companies are introducing new bands designed for Apple’s latest product. One of those companies, Nomad, was quick to show off its new Rugged Strap.
The Rugged Strap, like most of Nomad’s straps, is designed to give your Apple Watch a modern, rugged look for daily wear or on your next adventure. The strap is made from a soft yet strong fluoroelastomer rubber called FKM. Unlike low-grade rubbers, FKM will not sustain damage from high temperatures, exposure to sunlight, or chemicals. The inside of the band has a breathable ribbed design, which helps make the band very flexible for all-day comfort. And as you would expect with a name like Rugged Strap, it is ultra-durable and waterproof. To finish off the design, Nomad equips each strap with a custom-designed, metal injection molded buckle and lugs. You can choose between black and silver hardware.
