NEWS – Detroit-baed knifemaker WESN has recently released the Microblade 2.0, an updated version of their small but mighty EDC folding pocket knife. The upgrades to their original Microblade include upgraded D2 steel blade material, and additional handle materials and colors.
With its small size (only 2.25″ when closed), wide blade, and pocket clip, the Microblade has been one of WESN’s most popular knives, particularly among the pocket EDC crowd. It is The recent upgrade’s main new feature is a high carbon, high chromium D2 tool-grade steel blade for even better hardness, toughness, and abrasion resistance.
Additionally, with the recent upgrade release, the Microblade 2.0 is now available in four versions; the original Titanium handle version, a Blacked Out version (black handle and black blade), a Black handle with version, and an OD Green G10 x Titanium version. All versions include frame-lock, pocket-clip, keychain hole, and ceramic roller bearings for a smoother, satisfyingly fluid opening action.
