NEWS – On Wednesday, Apple announced that iPadOS 13.4 will bring trackpad and mouse support for the iPad. With the news, Logitech wasted no time announcing their newest iPad keyboard case, the Combo Touch.
The Combo Touch Keyboard Case is compatible with the iPad (7th Gen), iPad Air (3rd Gen), and the 10.5-inch iPad Pro. The new keyboard case comes with a trackpad and connects via Smart connector. At $149.99, it’s half the price of Apple’s Magic Keyboard case for iPad Pro.
The Combo Touch keyboard features backlit keys with five adjustable levels of brightness. It also features a full row of IOS shortcut keys, including Home, screen brightness, media controls, and screen on/off.
The case offers four different use modes. Type mode, Viewing mode, Sketching mode, and Reading mode. If you want to use the iPad without the keyboard, it detaches, and the case features a flexible kickstand that offers 40° of tilt.
The keyboard uses the iPads Smart connector to power and pair in one click without the need for batteries.
As far as protection goes, the Combo Touch will keep the front and back of your iPad safe from scuffs, scratches, and spills. The lightweight case securely holds the iPad and keeps the corners protected.
The Combo Touch Keyboard Case is listed as Coming Soon. Keep an eye on Logitech’s website for shipping and availability info. iPadOS 13.4 will be available on March 24th.
