NEWS – I’m sure you’ve heard the saying that a watched pot never boils. We all know that’s not true and if you don’t watch the pot, you might end up with a mess to clean up. The BoilingBeeper helps you out by alerting you when the water in the pot begins to boil. That means you can multitask and not worry about messy boil overs.

The great thing about the BoilingBeeper is that the water-activated sensors turn the device on when it’s wet and then turns off when dry. Even better is the fact that it does NOT require batteries, charging, etc. It’s good for over 1000 uses and is priced at $19.95. You can get one from The Grommet.

  1. Gadgeteer Comment Policy - Please read before commenting
  2. plastic in boiling water = release of carcinogenic substance e.g. bysphenol a.
Added to the substances contained by the electronics of the gadget = catastrophe .
The best thing to do is to take a whistle kettle or electric kettle made entirely of stainless steel and pour the boiling water over the food to be cooked, I think.
