Last year when I reviewed the Polar Loop activity tracker I found it to be neither a great or horrible fitness tracker. It tracked activity, but the inactivity alerts didn’t work at all and the heart rate sensor only worked with a compatible chest strap. The Polar Loop 2 is their newly updated version which has the same basic look and feel with the same illuminating display consisting of 85 individually placed LED lights, but the new one features updated vibration alerts for inactivity, smart notifications for incoming calls, messages and calendar alerts, and is available in new colors. Unfortunately, it you still need a separate chest strap to track your heart rate. The Polar Loop 2 will be available in retail stores and online in the United States and Canada for $119.95. The Loop 2 will be available in July in two new colors, Powder White and Sorbet Pink. Smoky Black will be available in September. Visit Polar for more info.

Too bad they didn’t get rid of those horrible chrome strips on the loop 2.
It is similar to Nike and Safeband. But has less functions than the last one.
