With the Zeetron Light Up Lightning Cable, you’ll be able to see at a glance when your iOS device has completed charging. When you plug the cable into a USB port, an LED at the Lightning plug lights up blue to show power is available. When you plug in a device, a red LED comes on to indicate the device is charging; it returns to blue when charging is complete. Because the lighted area is a bit bulky, you may find that this cable won’t work with all cases. The Zeetron Lightning cable is available from Amazon for $14.99.

I bought two of these, will send them back. If you have case or protective cover, it may not work. I have a thin case and will not plug all the way in. Poor design. Obviously did not do thier research on that issue.
The info for the cables does say that they won’t work with all cases.
