  1. Gadgeteer Comment Policy - Please read before commenting
  2. Thanks to my time at college, I can always jam out to Enter Sandman by Metallica.

  3. Meatloaf’s “Paradise By The Dashboard Light” has been stuck in my head lately, keep listening to it again and again to get it out of my mind, but it still keeps playing…

  4. Lately I’ve been playing “Lowrider” in my predominantly white suburban “planned community.”
I don’t know why it’s so satisfying. It just IS.

  5. Current = Jubilee Street – Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
All time = This Corrosion – Sisters of Mercy

  6. Hard to choose just one, especially as it depends on my current mood. I’d say “Prodigal” from Sovereign Grace is up there, though.

  7. Gotta be Layla by Eric Clapton… The original of course, not the unplugged crap… The long solo at the end is just amazing with the right headphones! Had the pleasure of seeing him in concert a few times.

  8. My favorite song — which would sound great on these headphones is Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel

  9. I’ve been smiling to Youtube indie sensation Malukah, particularly the song ‘Reignite’.

  10. Oh No by Frank Zappa is simply lovely. I’ve been listening to various versions of it since 1970 and haven’t come close to tiring of it yet.

  11. Wow, that’s hard. The first one that comes to mind this minute is Dylan’s Sad eyed lady

  12. My favorite song is Hotel California by The Eagles, but not just any version of it, though…the Hell Freezes Over live version with the acoustic guitar intro. I use this song to test all audio sources for quality…it’s that good!

  13. My favorite song of all time is the 1812 Overture, but I am even more specific than that.

In my humble opinion the best version of it was recorded by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra recorded in the 1978 Telarc Edition.

This version is notable because it uses live cannon timed to the orchestra, be careful when playing this because the loud canon barrages can hurt your ears and/or speakers if you listen to it too loudly.

  14. Right now I have two fav songs, Stay by Rihanna and When I Was Your Man by Bruno Mars. I just love them both

  15. My favorite song in High School was Meatloaf’s “Paradise By The Dashboard Light”. There was a group of us that would drive down to the local lake and blast it from all the car stereos.

  16. The winner of this contest is entry #37 Betty Widerski. Congrats to Betty and thanks to everyone who entered!
