The Lyrix Duo looks like a lot of the small “hockey puck” speakers you see on the market today. The Lyrix Duo from Digital Treasures has a Bluetooth receiver (EDR2.1 and supports A2DP and AVRCP) that lets you send your music from any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, or computer to its speaker. The 3W speaker reproduces 20Hz-20KHz, and it has a USB-chargeable battery for four hours of music between charges. It even has a suction cup on the bottom, so you can stick it up where you want music. Sounds like a typical speaker so far, right? The difference is that you can remove the Bluetooth receiver from the Lyrix Duo, attach one of the included audio cables, and connect it to your headphones or to an audio input on your home speakers to turn them into Bluetooth devices! The Lyrix Duo is available in red or blue, as shown, for $49.95.
