Hammacher Schlemmer is offering what they call the World’s Lightest Packable Electric Guitar. It weighs 3 pounds and is 28″ long overall, and it is a “full-scale length 24 3/4″ guitar with 22 frets, enabling accurate chord and finger placement without adjusting one’s playing style.” The tuning pegs are placed inside the “body” of the guitar, and it comes with six D’Addario EJ15 Phosphor Bronze round-wound extra-light acoustic strings. It has an ebonized rosewood fingerboard, American maple body and neck, and acoustic piezo pickup. The adjustable truss rod, nut, and bridge allows you to lower the strings closer to the fretboard for easier playing. The guitar has pins for attaching a strap and a removable lap rest frame. The guitar and a soft case is $399.95.
