  2. God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman/We Three Kings by Barenaked Ladies (with Sarah McLachlan) it’s so upbeat!

  3. Last Christmas by
    George Michael

it’s the only Christmas song at my jobs looping Christmas playlist that doesn’t make me want to slam my head into the wall
    thank you George Michael!

  4. Run Rudolph Run
written by Johnny Marks and Marvin Brodie
    performed by Keith Richards
    performed by Brian Setzer
    performed by Chuck Berry

  5. No real artist since it was done ensemble with the SNL Band just one time years ago, but it would have to be “Baby It’s Cold Outside” done fully choreographed with Sigourney Weaver and Buster Poindexter.

  6. Favorite holiday song of all time, hands down, has got to be Springsteen’s version of santa clause is comin to town. My dad loves springsteen, and blares that song every christmas season.

  7. My all-time favourite is this Swiss German song from the musical “d’Zäller Wiehnacht”: “Kei Muetter weiss, was irem Chind wird gscheh” composed by Paul Burkhard.

  8. I love the song The Gift by Garth Brooks about the first nightingales song sung to baby Jesus while he was in the manger.

  9. The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole: http://youtu.be/jODKhUoFxzA

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

    They know that Santa’s on his way;
He’s loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother’s child is going to spy,
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.

And so I’m offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although its been said many times, many ways,
A very Merry Christmas to you

  10. I tend to get a little “scroogey” this time of year – “Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer”

  11. Wow, great idea! Hmm, I’m pretty partial to anything from Kingston Treo. “these three kings” would be my pick

  12. The song that always puts a smile on my face has to be Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer by Elmo and Patsy.

  13. “Jump Around” House of Pain

Not your traditional holiday classic; long, long story –but has remained my favorite “Christmas” song for years.

  14. The winner is #68 chuck b. congrats and thanks to everyone who entered!

Update: Chuck did not respond to my email. The prize now goes to #69 Spence.
