Julie told us back in February about three new HP webOS devices, including a tablet.  HP has announced that the TouchPad tablet will be available for pre-orders starting June 19.  They are offering a 16GB device for $499.99 and a 32GB device for $599.99.  The TouchPad will include productivity products that will allow you to get to work as soon as you take it from the box.  You’ll be able to print wirelessly to compatible networked HP printers.  There are a lot of webOS apps available for gaming, productivity, news and magazines, social networking, and much more.  Touchstone technology lets you simply touch your HP Pre3 phone and TouchPad together and transfer websites between them or answer calls or receive texts on the TouchPad.  You can sign up at the HP TouchPad site to be reminded when you can place your pre-order.

  2. Rather than pre-order, I think I’ll just wait 4 months and NOT buy one for $299 when virtually none of these sell.
