T-Mobile is joining the ranks of Google Voice and Skype by allowing you to make free calls to Facebook friends. You download the Bobsled app, then you can call any of your friends through Facebook Chat by just clicking on their Facebook name. You can call anyone around the world, and computer-to-computer calls are always free. (Works with Mac or PC.) You can even leave voicemail – a private message or a public one on their Facebook page. T-Mobile plans to “evolve Bobsled by T-Mobile to include video chat, the ability to place VoIP calls to mobile and landline U.S. numbers, and will offer applications on smartphones and tablets across various mobile platforms, regardless of the carrier that powers such devices” in the near future.
