Grove makes beautiful bamboo cases and covers for iPhone 4 and the original iPad, and now they have announced a new line of cases and skins for the iPad 2. Both are made of 100% real bamboo in either natural or amber color with a hand-rubbed oil finish. Both are available plain, laser-engraved with artist series designs, or with your own custom design. You can get a skin (shown on the right) that adheres to the back of the iPad 2 with 3M adhesive that leaves no residue when removed. The skin is only 0.025″ thick, and it will be available on 3/11 at a starting price of $29. You can also get a case that incorporates a vegetable-tanned leather “smart” cover that will sleep and wake the iPad 2 and fold into a stand, just like the official Apple Smart Cover. You can pre-order the case for iPad 2 for a $20 deposit. The deposit locks you into the introductory price of $79 and puts you in line for early shipments. The case will be ready 3-6 weeks after release of the iPad 2.
