If you are using a Pocket PC but you haven't updated the built in Contacts, Calendar and Tasks applications software, then you seriously need to check out Pocket Informant.
A lot of tweaks have been made since I first tried this program in 2001 and first wrote about it in 2002, but one thing that hasn't changed is Alex Kac's dedication to the continuous improvement of what I consider to be the best Pocket PC DateBook replacement software avaiable.
Evidently HP agrees with me. If you happen to buy an iPAQ hx4700, then you may recognize the GUI of the built in PIM. Even though it isn't quite as robust as the commercial version, the included Pocket Informant software is a vast improvement over the the typical PDA's PIM. I use it so much that I have even purchased an additional icon set and the Today Screen plug-in. :0)
