Name: Eric F. Schetley
Location: Pittsburg, PA
So what makes me think Iβve got what it takes to be a Gadgeteer?
Well, I do read this siteβ¦ π
The sarcastic geek typing this is Eric Schetley, an overgrown boy who loves his
toys.
Iβm a PC Support Specialist at Carnegie Mellon Universityβs School of Computer
Science. One of the best parts of my job is that I get to play around with some
really cool stuffβ¦some of it rather cutting edge.
Iβve always had a love of gadgetsβ¦I remember the first computer I ever owned
was a Timex/Sinclair 1000.
Ah, back in the days when we thought a 16k add-on module was so cool. π
Iβve got a few PDAβsβ¦I do love my new Tungsten T3, but I still have my m130
and a Dell Axim X5.
For my music, Iβve got a Sony NetMD NE-410. Quite cool, compact, and sounds good
too!
But my pride and joy has to be my Olympus C-2100 Ultra Zoom digital camera. I
admit, Iβm not a photographerβ¦more of an amateur picture-takerβ¦but it is a
wonderful camera. Iβve been known to post my photos over at a little place
called Deviantart.com
So, like I said, what makes me think Iβve got what it takes to be a Gadgeteer?
Itβs simpleβ¦I love my toys! π
