So what makes me think I’ve got what it takes to be a Gadgeteer?
Well, I do read this site… 😉
The sarcastic geek typing this is Eric Schetley, an overgrown boy who loves his
toys.
I’m a PC Support Specialist at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer
Science. One of the best parts of my job is that I get to play around with some
really cool stuff…some of it rather cutting edge.
I’ve always had a love of gadgets…I remember the first computer I ever owned
was a Timex/Sinclair 1000.
Ah, back in the days when we thought a 16k add-on module was so cool. 😉
I’ve got a few PDA’s…I do love my new Tungsten T3, but I still have my m130
and a Dell Axim X5.
For my music, I’ve got a Sony NetMD NE-410. Quite cool, compact, and sounds good
too!
But my pride and joy has to be my Olympus C-2100 Ultra Zoom digital camera. I
admit, I’m not a photographer…more of an amateur picture-taker…but it is a
wonderful camera. I’ve been known to post my photos over at a little place
called Deviantart.com
So, like I said, what makes me think I’ve got what it takes to be a Gadgeteer?
It’s simple…I love my toys! 🙂
