The Retro Belt-Drive Turntable (PVTT2U) from Pyle reminds me of the old suitcase-style record players of the 1960s.  Inside the suitcase is a 3-speed (45, 33-1/3, and 78), belt-driven turntable, a ceramic stereo cartridge, and speakers; you can playback your records with no other equipment.  If you want to convert the music on those vinyl records to MP3s, simply connect the Pyle turntable to a USB port on your computer; Pyle even includes Audacity software for the conversion.  The Retro Belt-Drive Turntable is available for $188.  The turntable’s page has a link to help you find a retailer.
