Last year I reviewed the Logitech Alert 750i Master System and continue to use it to this day to monitor both the interior and exterior of our home. One of my main Cons of the system was that its main control software was Windows-only. With Boot Camp running Windows to set it up and the Logitech Alert web-interface for day-to-day use, Mac users could muddle through. But today, I was surprised to see that Logitech has finally released a native OSX version of their Alert Commander. The application/software is available free via Mac App Store download. The software enables you to view live and recorded video feeds from as many as six cameras. The software also allows you to create 16 motion-sensitive zones, digital zoom, create backups and setup email notifications.
