The Anker MagGo 2 Pro is designed around that problem. It combines a 10,000mAh battery with 25W Qi2 magnetic wireless charging and Anker’s SnapCool active cooling system, which is meant to manage temperature during charging.
25W Qi2 Wireless Charging Is the Headline
The MagGo 2 Pro supports up to 25W Qi2 wireless charging with compatible phones, up from the 15W maximum associated with the original Qi2 specification. You may see this newer 25W generation described as Qi2.2 in product listings and coverage. More precisely, the Wireless Power Consortium certifies the MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro, model A110R, under Qi 2.2.1 with a 25W Magnetic Power Profile. For simplicity, we’ll refer to it as Qi2 25W here.
Anker claims an iPhone 17 Pro can go from empty to 50% in about 25 minutes. That is an Anker test result, not independent Gadgeteer testing, and actual charging speed will depend on the phone, battery level, temperature, software, alignment, and other conditions.
There is also a USB-C port capable of up to 45W input and output when used on its own. That lets the MagGo 2 Pro operate as a conventional wired power bank when wireless charging is not the best option.
There is an important limitation if you charge wired and wirelessly at the same time. The MagGo 2 Pro does not provide 45W USB-C and 25W wireless output simultaneously. Anker lists combined modes of 10W USB-C plus 5W wireless, or 14.4W USB-C plus 7.5W wireless. For maximum wired or wireless speed, you will want to charge one device at a time.
SnapCool Tackles the Heat Problem
The most unusual part of the MagGo 2 Pro is Anker’s SnapCool system. Rather than relying entirely on passive heat dissipation, the battery uses an integrated fan and internal airflow system that Anker says automatically adjusts cooling according to charging conditions.
Anker claims the charging surface remains below 96.8°F, or 36°C, during its specified testing with an iPhone 17 Pro in a 77°F environment. That figure is not a guarantee for every climate or workload; it is a result from Anker’s controlled testing.
What is established is that the MagGo 2 Pro includes an active cooling system, something still unusual in a magnetic power bank. The tradeoff is added complexity, because a fan introduces a moving component and potentially some noise compared with a passive battery. Independent testing will ultimately show how much SnapCool improves sustained charging in everyday use.
The Display Replaces Simple LEDs
Most power banks give you a few LEDs to estimate how much energy remains. The MagGo 2 Pro instead uses a smart display.
Anker says you can cycle through six screens to check charging status, remaining battery level, battery health, and temperature, as well as change charging modes and switch wireless charging on or off. That provides considerably more information about what the battery is doing than a conventional status indicator.
10,000mAh Does Not Mean 10,000mAh Reaches Your Phone
The battery is rated at 10,000mAh, but buyers should not assume all of that capacity will reach another device. Anker’s support documentation estimates approximately 5,500 to 6,500mAh of usable capacity after losses in the battery cells and power-conversion circuitry.
Those losses are normal for power banks, while wireless charging introduces additional inefficiency. You therefore should not estimate the number of phone recharges by simply dividing 10,000mAh by your phone’s battery capacity.
The MagGo 2 Pro itself accepts up to 45W through USB-C. Anker claims it can recharge to 80% in about 52 minutes under its test conditions, another manufacturer result rather than independent Gadgeteer testing.
The Stand Makes the Extra Bulk More Useful
Anker lists the MagGo 2 Pro at approximately 2.79 x 4.14 x 0.7 inches and 7.76 ounces, or 220 grams. That is enough bulk to notice when it is attached to your phone.
A built-in stand offsets some of that bulk. It adjusts from 0 to 80 degrees, allowing the battery to prop up your phone on a desk, airplane tray table, or hotel nightstand while charging. Anker says the hinge has been tested for 5,000 cycles, although that remains a manufacturer durability claim.
Who Should Buy the Anker MagGo 2 Pro?
The MagGo 2 Pro makes the most sense for heavy phone users who want fast magnetic charging away from an outlet and do not mind carrying a larger battery to get it.
Its mix of 10,000mAh capacity, 25W Qi2 wireless charging, 45W USB-C, active cooling, a smart display, and an adjustable stand makes it far more capable than a basic magnetic backup battery. Just remember that the headline 45W wired and 25W wireless figures apply individually, not simultaneously.
If you only need enough extra power to survive an occasional low-battery afternoon, a smaller magnetic pack will be easier to carry. If maximum efficiency matters more than cable-free convenience, the USB-C connection is also the more practical option.

The MagGo 2 Pro’s real differentiator is not simply 25W wireless charging. It is Anker’s decision to combine that faster charging with active thermal management. Whether the extra hardware earns space in your pocket depends on how often you need that combination of speed, capacity, and convenience.
