A kitchen spill can leave a second mess inside a wet-dry vacuum: hair around the roller, crumbs in the tank, and dirty water to empty. Narwal’s next two cleaners put more of that cleanup into the machine, with heated roller washing, drying, and a system that separates solid debris from wastewater. The flagship also brings steam and hot water to the floor.

Narwal plans to launch the pair in Europe in 2027; US pricing and availability haven’t been announced. The existing S30 Pro is the related model to consider if you need a wet-dry cleaner now, with its own heated maintenance system and a full GADGETEER review.

Steam and hot water for stuck-on spills

Narwal rates the flagship’s steam source at 400°C and pairs it with 95°C hot-water mopping. Its 25,000Pa suction rating and 33N of downward pressure round out a cleaning head aimed at sticky kitchen spills and dried-on food.

Steam and Hot Water are separate cleaning modes. AI Smart mode adjusts cleaning power through Narwal’s DirtSense system, while Quiet mode and a trigger-operated Max boost give you two more ways to control the machine. Automatic detergent dispensing takes measuring and mixing out of the regular cleaning routine.

A floating scraper handles hair and residue at the roller. That puts hair management where the mess enters the cleaner, before the dock starts its maintenance cycle.

The dock washes, separates, and dries

Back at the push-in dock, the flagship uses steam and 95°C hot-water self-cleaning, followed by 90°C iron drying and hot-air drying through the internal path. The sequence tackles both the dirt on the roller and the moisture left after washing.

Solid debris goes into a waste-separation bag, apart from the wastewater. That’s a useful arrangement for the mixture a kitchen floor produces: food scraps, hair, and liquid all arrive at the cleaning head together, but they don’t need to leave the tank together.

The dock measures 325 by 360 by 78mm. It’s a low parking base rather than a tall auto-empty tower, so you’ll still need a place for the upright and room to pull it out.

It lies flat for the spaces an upright struggles to reach

The flagship folds down through 180 degrees, turns through 63 degrees, and cleans along three sides of its head. That combination is aimed at low furniture, chair legs, and the strip of floor beside a cabinet. Small rear wheels and a flexible chassis hinge help the body follow the handle as you steer.

An illuminated brush head lights the cleaning area, and an LED display and voice prompts provide status feedback. Both upcoming models operate without app connectivity.

Narwal quotes up to 40 minutes in AI mode. The product brief lists up to 20 minutes in Steam Mode and a 60-minute maximum overall. Steam is the shorter-runtime option, so mode choice matters on a larger floor. The flagship carries 850mL of clean water and 720mL of dirty water in a body measuring 273 by 256 by 1,163mm.

The Essential Model keeps the heated roller care

The simpler cleaner shares the flagship’s 25,000Pa suction rating and pairs it with 20N of downward pressure. Standard, Suction, and Max modes cover its cleaning controls, and a dual-comb system removes hair from the roller.

Narwal Essential Vacuum

Its dock washes the roller in both directions, runs a 90°C self-cleaning cycle, and iron-dries at 90°C. Hot-air drying through the internal path and solid-liquid waste separation stay in the package. Steam mopping is the flagship’s extra; heated roller maintenance belongs to both.

A smaller setup for shorter cleaning sessions

The Essential Model also lies flat through 180 degrees and cleans along three sides. Its body measures 225.5 by 273 by 1,131mm, with an 830mL clean-water tank and the same 720mL dirty-water capacity as the flagship.

Narwal Essential Vacuum

Narwal rates runtime at up to 30 minutes in Standard Mode. The dock measures 299 by 245 by 53mm, taking up less floor space than the flagship’s base. The lower pressure, simpler mode selection, and smaller dock define the Essential Model’s place in the pair.

For the flagship, the extra equipment goes toward steam, hot-water mopping, automatic detergent dispensing, and DirtSense power adjustment. For the Essential Model, the focus stays on everyday wet-dry cleaning and the hot wash-and-dry routine afterward.

The S30 Pro gives US shoppers an option today

The existing Narwal S30 Pro already combines wet-dry floor cleaning with automatic detergent dispensing, hair cutting, and 194°F self-washing and iron drying. It has a 20,000Pa suction rating and is a separate product from the two upcoming 25,000Pa models.

Lynn Lopez’s S30 Pro review shows what that setup is like to live with. It picked up her wet cornflakes and dog hair, and the dock cleaned and dried the roller well. She recommended emptying the dirty tank and discarding the waste bag after every session because debris left for days could develop an odor.

Emptying the dirty tank after each session stays part of the routine, even with a dock that washes and dries the roller. The S30 Pro is available now; Narwal’s next pair is planned for Europe in 2027.
