If you’ve been eyeing a Nintendo Switch 2 or need to stock up on games for the holidays, Nintendo just dropped their Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025 lineup. There’s some solid savings to be had.

The Big Stuff: Switch 2 Bundles

Nintendo’s rolling out deals on the Nintendo Switch 2 system (starting at $449.99) and the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle ($499.99). That bundle is a limited-time production through Fall 2025, so if you’re interested, don’t sleep on it. These things tend to vanish once the holiday rush hits.

And here’s a nice bonus: games like The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Super Mario Odyssey, and Splatoon 3 are getting free Nintendo Switch 2 updates. Translation? Better performance and higher resolution when you play them on the new hardware. No extra charge.

Game Deals: Actually Good Prices

Starting November 23, select retailers (including Nintendo’s official stores) are discounting physical game copies:

$39.99 each:

$29.99 each:

That’s not quite impulse-buy territory, but for Nintendo first-party titles, these are legitimately good prices. If you’ve been waiting to grab any of these, this is probably your best shot before the new year.

Cyber Deals Sale: Digital Discounts Too

From November 20 through December 3 (until 11:59 p.m. PT), the My Nintendo Store and Nintendo eShop are running their Cyber Deals sale. Nintendo’s being a bit vague about what’s included, but expect discounts on select digital titles for both Switch and Switch 2.

amiibo and Storage Deals

If you’re into amiibo collecting (or just want some cool figures), select amiibo are getting $10 off MSRP at participating retailers. That includes:

  • The Legend of Zelda Series Sages amiibo (Tulin, Yunobo, Riju, Sidon)
  • Street Fighter 6 amiibo (Jamie, Kimberly, Luke)
  • Street Fighter 6 amiibo Card Starter Set

And starting November 30, Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO, Nintendo NEW YORK, and select retailers are taking $20 off Samsung MicroSD Express Cards. If you need more storage for your Switch 2 (and you probably will), this is the time to grab one.

In-Store Events: Try Before You Buy

Nintendo’s also hosting free demo events at retailers this season:

Check the official Walmart GameTruck site for participating locations near you.

Official Store Exclusives

If you’re near San Francisco or New York City, the official Nintendo SAN FRANCISCO and Nintendo NEW YORK stores are going all-out with festive décor, gift-with-purchase offers (while supplies last), and an exclusive Winter Collection featuring cozy Nintendo-themed apparel and accessories. Sounds like a fun holiday outing if you’re in the area.

Bottom Line

This isn’t earth-shattering savings, but for Nintendo (a company not exactly known for deep discounts), it’s solid. The game deals are legit, the amiibo and storage discounts are nice bonuses, and those demo events could be worth checking out if you’re still on the fence about Switch 2.

Just remember: the Mario Kart World bundle is limited production, and those $29.99 games will probably sell out fast at popular retailers. If something catches your eye, grab it sooner rather than later.

Happy gaming (and happy holidays)! 🎮
