Nomad just released the 4th generation of their Stand One wireless chargers, and the big news is Qi2 25W support. That’s the latest wireless charging standard (Qi v2.2.1) that can charge compatible devices up to 3x faster than standard wireless chargers. Pretty significant upgrade.
Both are available now in Silver or Carbide.
So what’s actually new here? The jump from Qi2 15W to 25W is the main thing. If your device supports it, you can charge from 0% to 50% in about 30 minutes. Right now that’s the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max. The iPhone 16 series currently charges at 15W but might get faster speeds through a future update.

The Stand One also finally adds a second charging coil in the base. Previous versions made you choose between your phone or your wireless earbuds. Now you can charge both at once, with up to 5W going to whatever sits in the base spot.
Stand One vs Stand One Max – The Stand One is a 2-in-1 setup. Main Qi2 puck for your phone, base spot for earbuds. Metal chassis with a glass panel, weighs 575 grams, comes with a 2-meter USB-C cable. The 21-degree viewing angle works for iPhone StandBy mode whether you go horizontal or vertical.

The Stand One Max adds an Apple Watch fast charger, making it a 3-in-1 station. The Watch charger works with Apple Watch Series 1-11, SE 1-3, and Ultra 1-3. Fast charging is available on the newer models (Series 7-11, SE 3, and Ultra 1-3). At 875 grams, it’s nearly twice as heavy.

Both need a 40W USB-C power adapter, which Nomad doesn’t include. You’ll need to grab one separately if you don’t have one already.
Quick background on Qi2 25W – It’s the newest wireless charging standard from the Wireless Power Consortium, announced in July 2025. Uses a Magnetic Power Profile for precise alignment, which cuts down on energy loss and heat. Works with older Qi and Qi2 devices too, they just charge at their max supported speeds.
14 devices are currently certified for Qi2 25W, with several hundred more in the queue. Android manufacturers like Samsung, Google, and OnePlus are expected to add support throughout 2025 and 2026.
Both use metal construction, glass panels, anti-slip rubber bases, and nylon braided cables. Stand One is 127mm x 83mm x 69mm. Stand One Max is 82mm x 161mm x 128mm. Both include a 2-meter USB-C cable.
Summary
Nomad’s 4th generation Stand One wireless chargers bring Qi2 25W charging speeds to your desk, charging compatible devices up to 3x faster than standard wireless chargers. The Stand One finally adds a second charging coil for simultaneous phone and earbud charging, while the Stand One Max offers a complete 3-in-1 solution with Apple Watch fast charging included.
