Design and features

My daughter just turned 13. Officially a teenager. What could be more fun than karaoke, root beer floats, and friends? With great sound, and cool features, the Seenda Karaoke machine brought the perfect amount of fun to the party.

I was thoroughly impressed with the sound this machine can put out. It might have been a bunch of 13 year old girls to try out the karaoke features, but even they sounded awesome with the accompaniment of the dual 6.5-inch woofers and a 1.5-inch tweeter. There was a good balance and feel to the music. The RGB lights on the machine also made the atmosphere more enjoyable. There are colors around the main speaker and also highlighting other areas of the unit.

The Bluetooth was really easy to connect to my phone. I turned on Spotify, and let the girls just pick whatever their hearts desired. The Spotify app also has the lyrics available, and will highlight them as the song goes on. Perfect for karaoke. My phone remembered the Bluetooth, and the next time the machine was turned on, it auto connected and was super easy to continue playing.

The microphones are also wireless. I didn’t have to do anything such as change the frequency, or figure out how to help them connect. However, it did take me some time to figure out that you can change the volume of the microphones themselves. I played around a lot with the output sound on the machine, but was worried that if I played with too many settings I would totally mess everything up and not be able to connect it again. So far, everything is still working! Ha! There is a piece on the microphones that unscrews, and under that is the battery and a couple of hard to push buttons. The volume is the plus and minus under the cover of the handle on the microphone. I found that a three was slightly too soft to be heard over the music, and four was a bit on the loud side. We prefer to be able to be heard over the other noises, so we kept ours at four. There were some other numbers on the microphones that didn’t seem to do anything when we pushed them. I think that it was for the ability to have multiple machines set up and be able to talk to each one separately. The microphones seem sturdy. I didn’t have any fears that they would fall apart after a couple uses. The end of the microphone is a wire mesh, not foam, so that is also great.

This machine is not only compatible with Bluetooth 5.3, but can also use USB flash drives, TF cards, 3.5mm AUX, guitar input, TWS function, and FM radio. Karaoke isn’t the only thing this machine can be used for. I can just turn on the music and enjoy the sound. It works great as a PA system to talk to large crowds.

Battery life can change depending on your usage, but with a 6000mAh capacity, there should be plenty of time to be able to enjoy lots of music and fun. I had it on for about 3 hours with pretty constant use, and that was right out of the box without any additional charging. It has a 5v/2A quick charge. The microphones also charge with USB-C and have plenty of battery life.

My younger kids were playing around and the machine fell off the table. It was a little scuffed up, and the metal grate on the front speaker popped off. I was a bit surprised at how easy the piece came off, but it wasn’t that difficult to put back in place either. It says that it should be durable for indoor or outdoor use. The machine is just over 12 inches wide and deep, but almost 16 inches tall. Not that big, but can be a little awkward.

All of the ports and charging places are carefully placed behind a thick flap that is a soft rubber, but also is labeled as to what is behind the piece. It has a couple of places on the flap that can adjust and move, but also keep the large cover from disappearing.

The instructions were terrible. There isn’t that much to learn and figure out, but there wasn’t a lot of help to fix anything. There is a button to change it from bluetooth to something else, but I didn’t see any indicators of what setting I was currently on. I held down the power to turn it off and on again, hoping to reset it to Bluetooth as default, and it did. It has a lot of volume behind such a small speaker, so check the volume before you push play on your music. Your eardrums will thank you.

Final thoughts

I would totally bring this machine to family gatherings. Whether to use it as a PA system, just play music, or have a sing-a-long, this speaker is great.
