REVIEW – Do an internet search for vacuums and there are an incredible number of results. Different shapes, sizes, purposes, and they all claim to be the best at what they do. Today’s review, the UWANT Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner, is different from other vacuums I’ve seen before. It has a brush designed to clean hard floors in both a dry and wet setting, so I had to check it out. One of the things that I don’t like about mopping floors is that unless you frequently rinse out the mop, it feels like you just end up just smoothing the dirt out over the floor. With this vacuum, the vacuum is also sucking up the dirty water into a separate tank as it goes. Read on to see how it performed!

Design and features
The UWANT D100 Wet & Dry Vacuum cleaner has a slim body, a handle that easily adjusts angles, a removable water and collection canister, and a solid rotating brush. The brush serves dual duty for both wet and dry functions. The brush only gets wet when you’re using the wet floor cleaning function, so for optimal cleaning, do all of the dry floor vacuuming first before you use the wet vacuum. This is intended solely for cleaning hard floors. Kinda worked on carpet on the dry mode, but it’s not designed for it.
Installation, Setup
Set up the charging base and plug it into the wall.
Full charge takes up to 4 hours. Out of the box, the battery arrives almost fully charged, so topping it off took less than an hour.
Performance
I honestly wasn’t sure how this would perform at first. This vacuum is very light. The water tank holds about a liter of water, which ended up being about perfect for what could be covered on a single charge and was enough to clean our kitchen and entryway hard floors.
Before and after pictures of a dirty spot on the floor. (No judging)
Short video of the vacuum in action.
This is very flexible and can fit in pretty tight spots.
Cleanup time! I was very impressed by the amount of dirt this vacuum picked up. On the right is the clean tank and on the left is the dirty water tank.
The dry vac part of this vacuum still worked pretty well. Combining wet and dry vac makes for soggy dirt and bits, not the most pleasant to clean.
The air filter did its job and caught quite a bit as well picking up a lot of the dog hair.
Clean brush compared to a used one. The cleaning cycle after use is very interesting. It cleans the brush and then uses warm air to dry out the brush afterwards.
Final thoughts
I was skeptical of this vacuum at first, but I really like it. It’s a quick way to clean and mop your floor without having to get your hands too dirty. The part I think I like the most is the clean and dry cycle that the vacuum performs once you’re done and you put it on the charging base. You don’t have to worry about a wet mop brush getting moldy and mildewy. The system dries it out for you and preps it for your next use. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quick gadget to use to clean your hard floors.
What I like about the UWANT D100 Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner
- The built in brush cleaner and heated dryer for the wet brush is awesome and prevents things from mildewing between uses
- Picks up quite a bit of material on both dry and wet settings
- Not having to drag a cable due to the rechargeable battery is great
What needs to be improved?
- An easier way to fill the water reservoir would be useful.
