REVIEW – Camping can be a lot of fun. However, being an outdoor activity, the hot summer weather often makes it less desirable. The Ogery F11 Camping Fan addresses that issue and a couple of others. Let’s take a look at just what makes this camping fan special.

Design and features
The Ogery F11 Camping Fan is a lightweight, multi-use camping fan. It features an oscillating fan, an LED light, and a power bank for charging USB devices. We often sit on the patio in the summer, and having one unit that will provide airflow, phone charging, and light will be fantastic.
From the first moment I unboxed the Ogery F11 Camping Fan, I was impressed. I like the indicators for all of the functions. Unlike some products that have a single LED that are difficult to learn, the Ogery F11 has separate multi-segment LEDs that indicate exactly what mode it’s operating in. There is also a button on the unit and on the remote to turn off the LED indicators.
The battery level, fan speed, sleep timer, and oscillating functions have four LEDs that indicate their setting. There are separate buttons for each function and a knob for the fan speed.

One unexpected feature was the included remote control. I like that the remote is easy to operate with a button configuration that makes sense and is easy to remember. I really like being able to turn the light and the fan on and off without having to walk over to the unit.

The remote also makes it convenient if you want to hang the unit up out of reach. That feature may also come in useful when I’m working in the garage.

The top of the unit has a handle that folds down, and the bottom has a hook that pops out. The bottom also has rubber non-slip feet. The hook on the bottom is a feature that really stands out as being useful.

The fan delivers wind speeds up to 5.3m/s and is rated to run 12 to 58 hours, depending on the fan level. The fan doesn’t seem very large, but it actually puts out a fair amount of air. The fan is also fairly quiet at just 23dB, but is loud enough if you like falling asleep with a little fan noise. The fan can tilt 270° (up-down) and features 30°/60°/90°/120° automatic oscillation.
The LED light has three brightness levels and surrounds the fan area. The light isn’t super bright, but in complete darkness, it’s plenty to be able to see what you’re doing. The light is rated at being able to run from 39 to 138 hours. That’s where this light excels. The last thing you want to worry about when camping or during a power outage is how long your light will last.

The internal 20,000 mAh battery can also be used as a power bank via the two USB ports in the back. There is one USB-A port and one Type-C port that is also used for charging the device. You can charge two devices at a time. The unit can recharge in just 4.5 hours using any 18W or greater Type-C charger.

The sleep mode can turn off the device at 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. I like using these modes to ensure that I don’t forget to turn off the device.
Final thoughts
The Ogery F11 Camping Fan will certainly get a lot of use both around the house and when camping. The hook for hanging the fan is definitely a welcome feature that will make the fan and light useful in many situations. I’m sure this will get a lot of use in my garage, around the patio, and while camping, as soon as the weather warms up a bit.
