Performance
The YOGES 10000mAh Battery Head Strap for Meta Quest 3 and Quest 3S offers an impressive 10000mAh battery capacity that offers 4-6 hours of use which is a fantastic solution for gamers and professionals like me who require long, uninterrupted VR sessions for remote work or work with productivity apps.
Its soft leather cushions on the top and back make it extremely comfortable. The circumference of the head strap is adjustable from 19.9 to 27.9 inches. The weight is balanced, ensuring no strain on my face or neck, which is critical for long sessions.
In addition, the ability to magnetically attach and detach the battery means that one could potentially have more than one battery and keep swapping for as long as needed. I must admit that I have not seen the battery for sale but as a separate purchase, but maybe it is. As mentioned, it also offers overcharging, overcurrent, and overvoltage protection.
The only issue I have encountered is when charging the head strap battery, the Quest built-in battery does not charge. I have to unplug the power from the head strap battery and then it will charge the Quest battery. I own other brands of head straps, that when connected to charge, first charge the head strap battery and then automatically charge the Quest built-in battery.
Overall, the head strap works well and my son is happy about the comfortable fit and the extended playing time.
Final thoughts
The YOGES 10000mAh Battery Head Strap is comfortable and offers several hours of extended use. My son plays games for a few hours every weekend without fatigue.

What needs to be improved?
- When I charge the head strap battery, the Quest built-in battery does not charge. I have to unplug the power from the head strap battery and then it will charge the Quest battery.
