REVIEW – Over the past few years, ebikes have taken the market by storm, and riders are interested in acquiring the same conveniences as cars. This is especially so with the increased volume of bikes and their role in daily commuting. I am an Eco fanatic and I have a few bikes and even an e-motorcycle. I was excited when I received this offer for the Aoocci C5 5″ Portable CarPlay for Motorcycle, for which I intend to use my DIY skills to adapt to an eBike.

The Aoocci C5 5″ Portable CarPlay for Motorcycles is a CarPlay device designed to provide vital vehicle information and other features for a motorcycle.

Installation

The Aoocci C5 5″ Portable CarPlay for Motorcycle is easy to install. Since it is designed to be installed on a motorcycle, I had to add a rechargeable 12V motorcycle battery in one of my saddlebags to power the device. The following are some photos from my installation process:

Performance

Once the Aoocci C5 5″ Portable CarPlay for Motorcycle is installed, it performs like any CarPlay device. Here are some of the screens:

As you can see from the photos above, this device provides all the information it would if installed in a car and even additional features like tire pressure monitoring, etc. It is lightweight but well-built and easy to install.

Final thoughts

The Aoocci C5 5″ Portable CarPlay for Motorcycle is a nice and complete CarPlay system that includes GPS and add-ons like a Tire Pressure Monitoring System. It is easy to install, and the screen is bright and clear. The sunshade is a nice bonus. I like it.

    Thanks for the review that gave me the great idea to put one of these on my boat. Terrified to take my phone out over the water.

    1. @Harold, you still need to connect a phone to the Aoocci just like any other car play device. So you will still need a phone on the boat to make it work.

        That is correct. The advantage is that Harold can put the phone away safely and not have to handle it. As long as it has a signal this will work.
