REVIEW – An immersion hand blender isn’t one of those kitchen gadgets that I thought I needed. That is until I used one at a friend’s to make guacamole. It was so much easier than mashing the avocados with a fork, and the results were excellent. So, when I was allowed to review one, I jumped at it. Let’s check out the Colaze 5-in-1 immersion hand blender.
What is it?
The Colaze 5-in-1 immersion hand blender is a stick blender that is perfect for making soups, sauces, dips, and smoothies. It comes with assorted attachments that allow you to chop, froth, and whisk.

- Stick blender attachment

- Milk frother
- Whisk attachment

Design and features
The immersion hand blender has a sleek, lightweight design. There are two buttons on the handle, the switch button for adjustable speed and the turbo button for maximum speed. The light-up dial on the top of the handle allows you to easily adjust the speed.
The blender is equipped with a powerful 800W motor with 12 adjustable speed settings. And it comes with four multi-functional attachments and a measuring cup.
Let’s blend some stuff
Using the blender for the first time, I decided to make, you guessed it, guacamole. I snapped on the stick blender attachment and started blending. The four blades made quick work of the avocados, and in minutes I had nicely blended guacamole.
I also used the stick attachment to whip up some mashed potatoes. Again the results were excellent; smooth and creamy mashed potatoes.
Using the chopper attachment, I chopped up some pecans and toffee candies for a no-churn ice cream I was making. It did its good job of quickly chopping the ingredients. And it was far more convenient than breaking out my large food processor.
The blender also has attachments for a whisk and a milk frother.
Overall, I like using the hand blender. It is lightweight and easy to use. I also like the two-button operation and the 12 adjustable speeds. And it is easy to switch back and forth between attachments. An immersion hand blender might not be something I use daily, but it is nice to know it’s there when I need it and that it works well.
What I like

Final thoughts

Use the blender to make scrambled eggs – game changer!
You list this product as costing $59.99, but following your link to the manufacturer website shows a $49.99 price, while the Amazon link shows a $39.99 price. Maybe I’ll wait for the link where it’s free. ?????
I have had a Colaze 5-in-1 Immersion Blender for over a year. I love it, but last week I went to use it and it won’t work. Lights up but no go. Too bad. I always cleaned it promptly and it was used for sauces, not overworked. Very disappointed. Shopping for a new one.
