The RiutBag is a backwards backpack. What exactly is that? It is a backpack where the zipper is located nearest to your back to ensure that your belongings remain safe and secure. This uniquely designed backpack has a foam-lined pocket that will carry a 15-inch laptop (the pocket is located against your back) and has elastic straps to hold the laptop in place. In addition, it has a reinforced top pocket to place your keys, wallet, and passport. This sleek looking bag is also made of a water resistant outer material, has adjustable chest and shoulder straps, pen holders, a padded handle and a nylon handle, and even has two hidden pockets in the shoulder straps (about the size of a credit card or drivers licence). Deuter makes backpacks that open in the back also. At a much more reasonable price.

Horrible construction. Clips from straps just broke off when i pulled on it. Feels cheap not worth the price. Feels heavy abd thick for no reason and zipper is hard to move

I’ve been using one of these for more than a decade, going on 4-6 international trips per year as well as using it as a daily commuter. I recently upgraded to the latest version. It’s fantastic and incredibly durable.
