I know next to nothing about wine, Red or White… My beverage of choice is either Diet Coke or iced tea. So much for culture… But if I were a connoisseur, I’d have to have one of these wine aerators from Vinturi. This device draws in and mixes the proper amount of air for the right amount of time, allowing your wine to breathe instantly. Supposedly, you’ll notice a better bouquet, enhanced flavors and a smoother finish. It even comes with its own pouch 🙂

My uncle Larry designed this. It actually works very, very well. If you’ve ever tasted the difference before and after swirling the red wine around in your glass, you’ll know that aerating it makes a tremendous improvement. It’s a very high-tech way to aerate and a cool gadget to have in your wine cabinet.
A review by someone that doesn’t drink wine, doesn’t know wine (self-admittedly), and is basically reading from the ad-copy? This device looks neat, but will do next to nothing for wine. It will, however, add air to your wallet.

I also wouldn’t have much of a use for the product itself, but it does seem to hover above the glass in the picture without connection to the bottle or glass….. I’d love to see the hovering technology used in many other products 🙂
We have one of these and use it very often. It makes a cheap bottle of wine taste better and a nice bottle of wine taste great. I am here to tell you that it works, well.
I was very skeptical when I bought it, but it absolutely works. Makes cheap wine tastes a lot better. The only side effect is that you must drink the wine fast – letting it sit for 20 minutes after aerating and it starts to taste like the leftover wine from the night before.
