Casio’s new monochrome Baby-G watches hide a daily change inside their black and white designs. Four heart-shaped openings shift shades as the date advances, giving you a playful dial without a brightly colored band to match your outfit to.

The black BGA-10-1A and white BGA-10-7A1 keep the chunky resin shape and heart motif of the existing BGA-10 family. These are new colorways, not a new watch platform.

How the hearts change

A rotating color wheel sits beneath the dial. As the date changes each day, it moves different shades into view through the four heart-shaped cutouts. The gray tones move around the dial while the case and band keep their original color.

The dial leans into the theme without stopping at the hearts. Rounded hour and minute hands sit above raised silicone Arabic numerals, while the seconds hand looks like Cupid’s arrow. On these versions, the restrained palette lets those shapes do more of the work.

You can also select a different color combination with the crown. The bezel comes off to expose the crown. Check Casio’s manual for the correct date and color-setting procedure before adjusting it.

Both models weigh 34 grams and measure 46.6 by 42.1 by 11.4 mm. The resin case, bezel and band keep the design light, although a 42.1 mm width still makes this a fairly noticeable accessory rather than a tiny dress watch. Casio specifies a wrist fit of 125 to 180 mm.

The everyday basics include shock resistance, 100-meter water resistance and mineral glass. A replaceable SR920SW battery is rated for approximately three years. It’s an analog watch with three hands and a date display, so the daily visual change doesn’t bring a charging routine with it.

Thailand pricing and release timing

Casio’s Thailand pages list both colors at ฿3,500 each. Notebookcheck reports that they’re expected in November 2026; U.S. pricing and release timing remain unconfirmed. The white model is BGA-10-7A1, which matters when searching because the earlier BGA-10-7A is a different colorway.

If you want a watch with alarms and a stopwatch, Casio’s glossy Baby-G BA-110MC models put those functions in an analog-digital dial. The BGA-10 pair takes the simpler route: three hands, a date and a small visual change to enjoy each day.
