The unlocked 512GB Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 in Graphite is $1,849.99 on Amazon, a $250 reduction against the listing’s $2,099.99 comparison price. This is the standard Fold8, the shorter, wider model that Vincent praised for its everyday handling, rather than the taller Fold8 Ultra.

The discount makes sense if you already want the Fold8’s particular mix of phone and small-screen workspace. It doesn’t remove the compromises for a buyer who needs a telephoto lens, a stylus or a hinge that holds intermediate positions.

Why this Fold8 earned our recommendation

In The Gadgeteer’s Galaxy Z Fold8 review, I used the 256GB version as his primary phone. I found its shorter 201-gram body well balanced, its cover screen comfortable for typing, and the inner display useful for two apps side by side. This deal is for the 512GB configuration; the review’s ownership observations concern the same standard Fold8 design.

In the review, I paired Slack with his calendar and Notion with a browser. Those are practical reasons to open the phone, especially if you’re tired of switching between apps.

I also got through his normal day without charging anxiety, though battery life depends on workload.

What the $250 saving doesn’t change

The standard Fold8 has main and ultrawide rear cameras, but no dedicated telephoto lens. It also lacks stylus support and built-in magnetic attachment for Qi2 accessories. A compatible magnetic case can address the attachment problem, while adding its own size and feel.

The hinge doesn’t hold intermediate positions, so the phone won’t serve as its own stand for hands-free filming or calls.

The Amazon offer is a new, unlocked Graphite phone with 512GB of storage. Check your carrier’s compatibility before switching, and don’t mistake a cheaper used listing or a different storage configuration for this same offer. The box lists a USB cable; a wall charger is not listed among its included items.
