The 1MORE SonoFlow Pro over-ear headphones are made from plastic and alloy and feature a padded adjustable headband. The ear cups are equipped with soft memory foam padding covered in leather. All of the controls are on the right earcup. They include the on/off power button, the play/forward/backward/ volume adjustment buttons, and the noise cancellation button. The 2.5mm jack is also on the right earcup. On the left earcup, there is the USB-C port for charging.
Performance
The 1MORE SonoFlow Pro headphones are yet another great bang for the buck offering decent quality and audio reproduction at a budget-friendly price point. These over-ear wireless headphones have a simple and sleek design and are lightweight coming in at approximately 5 pounds. The Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity provides a solid connection, and the active noise cancellation (ANC) works well. Add the long battery life and the fast-charging capability that offers 5 hours of listening time from just a 5-minute charge, and you have affordable headphones that work well for daily listening. The earcup and headband are well padded and I can easily wear them for long listening sessions.
As with all the headphones I evaluate in the sub $100 category, I utilized the same process and listening tracks to form my opinion.
I listened to various tracks for the same subset of the previous music selection I chose to evaluate the other headphones. I often listen to tracks not listed here but ensure that my evaluation includes the same tracks. As a reminder, this selection is purely based on my taste and preferences. As usual, I listened to tracks like “All in Love is Fair,” “Distant Lover” and “I Want You” by Michael McDonald. Next, on the list I listened to “Europa” by Gate Barbieri, “Winelight” by Grover Washington Jr., and “Angela (theme from ‘Taxi’) by Bob James. I also enjoyed Gregory Isaacs, Beres Hammond, and Mariah Carey. I finished with the Flamenco genre with tracks like Govi’s Andalusian Nights.
For daily casual listening, these headphones, while not audiophile quality, provided a good experience across the board for the genres I evaluated. The frequency separation is good. The highs and lows are adequate without creating fatigue, and Mid frequencies are always pleasantly present. The maximum volume is adequate and the ANC works well. I also had no problems with phone calls.
The one thing I have become used to that is missing with these headphones is the voice announcement of power on/off. These headphones use voice to indicate the battery level, but the power on and off are 2 different audio sounds to distinguish the power status. I found a 1More app in the IOS app store but I could not get these headphones to work with it. Maybe they are not intended to.
Final thoughts
The 1MORE SonoFlow Headphones are extremely comfortable to wear and produce a nice balanced sound. I am very pleased with the overall performance, and IMHO they are a great bang for the buck. Well done!!
