The Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 is a beefy and hefty power station that thankfully has a built-in telescopic handle and wheels. Otherwise, a hernia would be one of the included accessories. LOL. There are also two convenient carrying handles on the top. There are ports on the front and the back for charging, powering, and recharging. Check out the photos below for a visual of the device and its features.

Performance
The Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 is a beat of a power station and can provide backup power during power outages for major appliances like refrigerators. It can also be used as a power source for 100% off-the-grid use. Unlike the original Delta Pro power station, the Delta Pro 3 has a built-in 240V outlet should you need such power. So let’s talk about how I use this Power Station. I have a gym that I built in my garage. In the gym, there is an overhear LED room light, LED wall sconces, a 12,000 BTU Smart Air Conditioner, a TV, an Apple TV, a Soundbar, 7 GFCI outlets, an electric fireplace, a rowing machine, a treadmill, my exercise bike, etc, Outside of the gym room there is a garage door opener, a 600W landscape transformer, an electric heater, a TV, Apple TV, small amplifier and the base for a security system. There is also an electric water heater connected to a small sink. All these appliances/devices are connected via the Delta Pro 3’s AC outlets. I also usually have multiple ebike chargers connected to support my at-home ebike accessorizing and modding shop.
The plan was to have my garage 100% off the grid by recharging the Delta Pro 3 via 2 x 400W solar panels that Ecoflow promised to send me. I have not yet received them, so the power station is connected to a 120V 20 amp AC outlet that keeps it fully charged. I have experienced a few short power outages since I installed the Power Station, and there was continuous power in my garage. As you can see from the photos below, the LED display is gorgeous and looks like an instrument gauge in a cockpit. It is well laid out and easy to read in any light conditions.
The Delta Pro 3 sits outside the gym door in the “ebike shop” section of my garage and the electric water heater is plugged directly into it.
App:
The Ecoflow app works flawlessly as it usually does. It was easy to add the Delta Pro 3, update the firmware, customize the settings, and monitor the power station.
I also use an Ecoflow remote to monitor and provide basic access and control without directly accessing the Power Station’s panel.
The following video is an overview of my installation:
Whether you are using this Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 with a connection to an SHP2 panel, for backup power to your home or as I use their power station to provide 100% off-the-grid solutions once I have adequate solar panels, it is obvious that the versatility and power that this device offers provides options towards achieving a more eco-friendly footprint. Once again, Ecoflow has built an industry-leading device in terms of quality and features and I am looking forward to what they do next.

Final thoughts
The Ecoflow Delta Pro 3 is another amazing addition to my eco collection and mission to get off the grid as much as possible. It is seriously well-built and the connectivity is well thought out. I can’t wait to get my hands on the 2 x 400W solar panels that should be on the way from Ecoflow soon. All I can say is once again, bravo!!!

I was loving the EcoFlow Pro 3 too, until I had a problem. The issue is if you depend on the EcoFlow for power and it fails, as in my case, error on power button. You need to ship it back, then EcoFlow will send the replacement. I am estimating this will take over two weeks.
Great the warranty is covered, I am assuming shipping costs are covered. Not so great several weeks without the unit. Seems like all electric solutions, like EV cars, don’t depend on them as when they fail the support, repair takes to much time. Back to the reliable gas generator as my primary and the expensive electric solutions are a nice to have, and not worth the extra cost.
