REVIEW – My home office/studio is quite packed with equipment that includes multiple large EcoFlow power stations, several computers and monitors, and the network rack with the switches, security DVRs, etc. I am never worried during the NY winters because the equipment remains relatively cool. Still, during the summer, and especially this summer, the room has become very hot and a few times I was sure that I could discern the scent of heated rubber. Not wanting to run the AC 24/7 since electricity costs a lot, I needed a way to monitor the temperature in the room especially when I am away. Enter the GoveeLife Smart Thermo-Hygrometer 3 Lite (1 Wi-Fi Gateway + 1 Sensor).

The GoveeLife Smart Thermo-Hygrometer 3 Lite (1 Wi-Fi Gateway + 1 Sensor) is a simple set of devices that include a gateway that is the control device for one or multiple sensors and the sensor/s that provide data back to the Gateway. When you buy the initial set, they arrive paired. Both the Gateway and Sensor are small and compact and made from plastic. Both have pairing buttons. The Gateway has a status LED on the front, a pairing button, and an AC plug on the back. The Sensor has an LED status indicator, pairing button, and sensor hole on the front and is powered by (2) AAA batteries.
Assembly, Installation, Setup
To set up the GoveeLife Smart Thermo-Hygrometer 3 Lite (1 Wi-Fi Gateway + 1 Sensor), pair the devices and add them to the Govee app. The process is easy once you follow the step-by-step instructions in the app.

Performance
The GoveeLife Smart Thermo-Hygrometer 3 Lite (1 Wi-Fi Gateway + 1 Sensor) works very well for monitoring the temperature in my home office/studio. This is exactly what I needed it for. Setting it up is easy, and it provides quite a few options for customization. I needed it to monitor the upper and lower temperature thresholds in my space and to alert me when it gets too hot or cold. I have been able to adjust the temps on several occasions during this hot summer. Here are some screenshots of what the APP offers:

The GoveeLife Smart Thermo-Hygrometer 3 Lite is another great device from Govee that works flawlessly and fulfills my needs. On several occasions, it alerted me to the rising temperature in my office/studio, and I remotely turned on my AC and ensured that my equipment did not overheat. Well done!
