Design and features
The body of this pen is made of a titanium alloy with a textured, six-sided grip. The color I chose was titanium gray. They have several other very pretty finishes, but I decided to keep it simple. The pen is nicely balanced and has a nice heft to it without being heavy.
Due to the titanium construction, this is also extremely strong. I’ve been carrying it around in my pocket for a couple of weeks now and is showing very little wear. The clip on the pen is very tight, probably due to the titanium, but it holds well.
Performance
The Titaner Ti-Chi Click pen is honestly one of the smoothest writing pens I’ve ever owned. I enjoy writing and doodling with it. I’ve been using it daily and have had zero issues.
The inserts that this pen uses are great. I understand that the body of the pen is basically just a carriage for the insert, so writing performance is entirely going to be due to the insert. That said, it is fun to write with this pen. Forgive my penmanship, but the lorum ipsum sample below is a pretty good representation of how well it writes.
What I like about the Titaner Ti-Chi Click pen
- Very smooth movement and coverage
- Fun to write with. The doodles on my notebooks are taking over the notebook!
- Titanium body is very strong and durable
What needs to be improved?
- Nothing
Final thoughts
I love the Titaner Ti-Chi Click pen. Kind of odd to say, but I enjoy writing with it and it makes a statement of its own with its design. The only thing I worry about at this point is losing it or lending it to someone and not getting it back. I would recommend this pen to anyone looking for a great EDC pen that is willing to spend a little extra.
