Anker 321

NEWS – Some Anker devices have been recalled due to fire hazards. In a news release the company cautions that a small number of the Anker 321 PowerCore 5K Power Bank in black, has a manufacturing defect that can lead to the device overheating, which may cause melting, smoke and fire. They are recalling all model 321 Power Banks in black color out of safety concerns.

The news release gives photos and details that can help consumers identify affected products.

In a separate announcement  Anker is recalling the A3102 Speaker in black, and the AnkerWork A3302 speakerphone, due to similar safety concerns. That announcement gives additional information on both recalls.

Customer service contact information is provided in the links above. If devices are outside their warranty period there may be no replacement or reimbursement options.

I first saw this alert at Android Police.
