Marchpower Fan review

REVIEW – Last summer I installed a Gazebo in our backyard and had a good summer outdoors. However, on the sweltering days, I had to bring a fan outdoors and sometimes I did not want to set up the inverter that I use outdoors to power a fan. It would be great if someone made a powerful floor-standing fan with a built-in battery that I could easily move around when relaxing in the backyard. Enter the Marchpower fan.

What is it?

The Marchpower Fan is a quiet oscillating 10-inch indoor/Outdoor foldable standing fan with a detachable tripod. It features a 10000mAh built-in battery and a remote control.

Design and features

• 10in Foldable Camping & Travel Fan: Adopting a stable tripod structure, with anti-slip rubber pads at the bottom, the standing fan can be firmly placed on grass, sand, and other uneven ground. The height of the floor fan can be extended from 28 inches to 47 inches (measured from bottom to top). The foldable tripod is easy to store and is space-saving.

The Marchpower Fan is a plastic fan featuring a 10000mAh built-in battery and a 1/4-20″ mount on the bottom that allows it to be attached to a tripod. It is lightweight and portable. On the top of the main body, are manual buttons and 4 LEDs that show the battery charge status. There is also a USB-C port on the bottom for charging. A full-function remote control is included.

Assembly

The photo below shows the simple assembly of the Marchpower Fan which only requires attaching the tripod to the 1/4-20″ mount on the fan.

Performance

As I previously mentioned, the Marchpower Fan is portable and lightweight and therefore very easy to move just about anywhere it is needed. The height is easily adjustable, and the 4 levels-of-airflow provide good options for the level of cooling I need. I love that it is quiet and at the lowest level, I can use it in my studio while recording without any audio issues affecting my mics. The built-in battery lasts several hours and recharges relatively quickly. I like that it uses a USB-C port to recharge so any cable will work. The oscillation and the ability to adjust the tilt completes the fully functional capabilities.

What I like about the Marchpower Fan

• The levels of air intensity
• The quiet operation
• The built-in battery
• I can also hang the fan

What needs to be improved?

• The tripod could be a bit heavier for added stability

Final thoughts

The Marchpower Fan is a great lightweight indoor/outdoor fan that has a built-in battery that lasts for several hours. It has a nice range of oscillation and produces a nice volume of air. In addition, it is so quiet that I can use it indoors in my home studio when recording without affecting my mics. I like it.
