REVIEW – My house has largely had the same holiday decorations for the last 10 or so years. This includes a tired “plastic” wreath on the front door, that so many of the needles have fallen off of that it looks more like a wreath of wire than greens. And it never had lights – I wrapped an old string of lights around it. In short, it looks sad. When the Quntis lighted wreath showed up, I was really excited to have a quick and easy refresh for our front door.

Design and features
The Quntis holiday wreath is available in a few different styles. I am reviewing the Red Gold Ball Wreath, and it looks really good. It features 40 LED lights that are embedded deep in the greenery, but still shine brightly. Those lights are powered by 3 AA batteries easily accessible in a weatherproof box in the rear of the wreath. The only real control on the wreath is a single rubberized button that turns the wreath on, selects the mode, and turns it off.
The modes include Combination, In Wave, Sequential, Slow Glow, Chasing/Flash, Slow Fade, Twinkle/Flash, and Steady On. The wreath also features a memory. Once you turn it on, it will stay on for 6 hours, and then turn off. Then, 18 hours later, it will turn on again. That’s great, until the batteries run out. In my testing, they last for about 6 days, but I suppose that depends on the mode you have it on and the temperature, if you have the wreath outside (cold temperatures kill batteries quickly). To hang the wreath, there is a small plastic hanger built into the frame on the back of the wreath, which provides a few hanging options.
Performance
This is a really nice looking wreath. The greenery looks very realistic, and includes a few different types of synthetic branches that look like pine, spruce, and juniper. The LED lights are embedded deeply within the greenery and can really only be seen when they are on. I really like that clean look. The lights look nice and can be seen clearly from the street.
The different modes provide options to match other lights on your house, and provide a warm natural LED light. It’s not a harsh white light like some earlier LED’s. The timer is a really nice feature, but I with the batteries lasted longer. I’ve been able to get 5-6 days out of 3 AA batteries, but I suppose that’s not too bad. Overall, I’m really pleased with the Quintis holiday wreath.
What I like
- Embedded lights
- Realistic greenery
- Handy timer function
What I’d change
- An option for hard-wired power (to tie in with the smart plugs that run the rest of the lights)
Final thoughts
If you’re looking for a quick and relatively inexpensive way to update your holiday lights, consider the Quntis 16 inch holiday wreath. It looks great, is weatherproof, and will make your holiday door look fantastic.
