REVIEW – When I was a kid, I loved to play the piano. I went to lessons for several years and if my memory serves me correctly, I passed the tests up to grade 3 before I quit due to an instructor who was proficient at hitting my knuckles with a wooden ruler each time I played the wrong note. Fast forward to about a year ago when I decided to buy an electronic piano and rejuvenate my passion. While I was excited about my new piano, I was quickly given a reality check that my eyes are not what they used to be and I need a piano light to properly see the keys in the dimly lit corner where the piano now sits. The Quntis 55” Ultra Wide Illumination Piano Light is a well-built piano lamp that features an adjustable light lamp and stem, and touch panel controls on the front of the light head. The AC adapter port is on the back of the base. There is a light sensor at the top of the lamp head.
Performance
Quntis 55” Ultra Wide Illumination Piano Light is easy to use and performs well. Just plug it in, sit it where you need it and you are ready. It offers auto and manual dimming and 4 color temperature levels: 3000K, 4000K, 5000K, and 6000K. It also has a sensor switch that turns the sensor function on/off. This feature allows the light to auto-adjust to the ambient light in the room. Both the light head and the light stem are adjustable so that you can set it at the perfect angle. The base is heavy so it stays in place and the non-skid bottom helps to make sure that accidents don’t easily happen. This lamp provides a wide array of light that evenly lights every key on my 88-key full-size piano. It is evident that its versatility will allow it to be used for lighting scenarios other than for playing the piano.
