Ultenic U10 Pro vacuum 1

Design and features

I unpacked the Ultenic U10 Pro vacuum cleaner and was immediately impressed with the quality of construction and the user manual. I first checked the storage bracket, as I’ve had vacuums in the past that had less than impressive mounts. I found that the U10 Pro mount had a nice positive detent without having to press any latch.

I plugged in the 2200mAh high-capacity battery to charge, noting that it has three LEDs for indicating the charge level. The battery also has a lovely latch, making it easy to find and operate.

Five filters keep the U10 Pro running like a champ

While the battery was charging, I explored the vacuum and its components. The Ultenic U10 Pro has five filters, including one before and one after the motor. Two filters are replaceable, one is internal (which I assume is to protect the motor), and two are permanent washable filters for cyclonic capturing of debris. The U10 Pro claims to filter 99.99% of the dust.

The waste bin has an easy-to-operate latch that easily dumps the contents without getting your hands dirty. All of the operating mechanisms and buttons are a nice contrasting orange, making them easy to locate.

The Ultenic U10 Pro weighs 3.67kg (8.1 lbs) and features a one-touch start and a shift button on top that switches between low and high power. The brushless motor draws 400W and provides 12kpa suction at 115000 rpm while producing just 65-75db noise. I did find that I would prefer the shift button to be located closer to the trigger for one-handed use, but it is easy to reach when using two hands.

The attachments are perfect. The primary attachment for floors is the rigid roller brush. It features a smooth metal strip on its inner ring to provide a firmer grip on stubborn stains. It has three LEDs in the front that illuminate as you vacuum. The lightweight body has a 180° steering angle to navigate your cleaning area easily.

The crevice tool is perfect for getting into tight areas, and the brush tool has a unique design that works like a crevice tool when the brush portion is slid back. The nozzle portion of the brush tool has slots on the side and bottom for airflow and to prevent the nozzle from sucking itself onto surfaces.

The Ultenic U10 Pro’s 2200mAh high-capacity battery provides 15-35 minutes of operation. I would consider it a one-room-at-a-time vacuum. You wouldn’t want to try to vacuum your entire house with this in one go.

I’ve used it around the house numerous times, but I primarily use it in my office to vacuum dust, 3D printing scraps, and laser engraving scraps. It has also served well by vacuuming up styrofoam scraps from the product packaging.

What I like

  • Positive hold storage cradle
  • Easy to empty and clean
  • Great attachments
  • Contactless garbage dumping
  • The multi-function brush tool is my favorite

What I’d change

  • I would prefer the shift button that switches to high speed to be located near the trigger.

Final thoughts

Overall, I found the Ultenic U10 Pro vacuum cleaner perfect for my office cleaning needs. I use it almost daily, and it has never failed to do its task. Attachments are easy to change, and the controls are easy to find and operate.
