We’re big fans of Moleskine here at The Gadgeteer (check out our many past reviews of their products), and as a child of the 80s, I’m a HUGE fans of the original “The Transformers: Robots in Disguise” animated series from the latter half of that glorious decade. Moleskine has released two notebooks bearing the classic likenesses of Optimus Prime, heroic commander of the Autobots, and Megatron, evil leader of the Decepticons, both from a race of sentient robots with the power to disguise themselves as vehicles and other objects who battle to protect and rule the earth, respectively. I was all over that, until I saw $24.95 each. Maybe that’s a normal price for Moleskine branded notebooks, but too rich for me for a fun nostalgic impulse purchase.
Yep, that’s a pretty typical price for the special-edition/themed type Moleskine notebooks.
