This week I found four interesting Kickstarter crowdfunding campaigns that I thought you might enjoy reading about. Click through to read this week’s list.
Intelligent Security | Camera Cover – Webcam Privacy Cover
What is it?
The Intelligent Security | Camera Cover is an ultra thin cover for the camera on your smartphone, tablet, or laptop that you can close for privacy.
Why do I like it?
I like it because it’s very thin and looks nicer than just putting a sticker over your camera lens. I have the SPIShutter on my MacBooks, but this cover is much smaller and nicer looking and is easier to use because you can easily flick the cover open and closed by sliding the disc with your finger.

You can pre-order an Intelligent Security | Camera Cover starting at $9. After the Intelligent Security | Camera Cover campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in May 2017. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.
Vessel wallet
What is it?
The Vessel wallet is a wallet made of aluminum that features a storage area that can hold keys, coins, medication, flash cards, etc. It also has an interesting card holder design that allows you to scroll through the cards to find the one you want. It also has a removable money clip.
Why do I like it?
I am always on the lookout for interesting wallets and I like this one mainly because of the card scrolling feature. I probably would not use the wallet as it is because it looks kind of thick and bulky for my taste, but I really want that card scrolling feature in a thinner wallet.

With 31 days left in their campaign, the Vessel wallet campaign has some work to do to meet their funding goal of $20,000. You can pre-order a Vessel wallet starting at $65. After the Vessel wallet campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in April 2017. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.
Fret Zeppelin
What is it?
Fret Zeppelin is a strip that attaches to your existing guitar’s fretboard to add LEDs that light up to show you where to position your fingers to help you learn to music quickly.
Why do I like it?
Learning to play guitar can be challenging if you have never picked up an instrument before. One on one lessons are great, but some people (like myself) prefer to learn on their own. Fret Zeppelin helps you learn chords, notes, scales and even songs with the smartphone app. You pick what you want to play on the app and the positions on the fretboard light up to show you exactly where to place your fingers. The AI mode will show you the next note or chord to play before you need it which can make playing songs easier than looking back and forth between a song book and the fretboard.

With 22 days left in their campaign, the Fret Zeppelin campaign has already met their funding goal of $48,000. You can pre-order a Fret Zeppelin starting at $199. After the Fret Zeppelin campaign ends, rewards are estimated to start shipping in October 2017. Visit their Kickstarter page for all the details.
Inirv React
What is it?
Inirv React is a stove safety devices that attaches to your existing stove’s knobs and will automatically turn off the stove if it detects a safety threat. The product is a combination of replacement knobs for your stove and a sensor unit that mounts above the stove that detects smoke, gas and motion.
Why do I like it?
I like the fact that it has been designed to work with your existing gas or electric stove so that you don’t have to replace a large appliance to get the benefits of this product. I also like that the product will turn off the stove if it detects smoke, gas or if there’s no motion at the stove after a preset length of time that you can customize. There’s also an app that you can use to check to make sure that you turned off the stove after you’ve left your home.

Check this article’s headline: it has the word “more” misspelled.
Thanks for catching that for me. 🙂 It’s fixed now.
There are a couple of the webcam covers similar to the one you highlighted in the Shop Related Products section just above the comments.
Ha! Gotta love Amazon! You’re right. There’s one that looks very similar that’s less than $9. http://amzn.to/2iWBGwx
