If you already have tried the Windows 8.1 preview, Microsoft has finally announced that Windows 8.1 will be officially released on October 18th worldwide. It will be a free update for current Windows 8 customers, and will be available on new devices after that date. With this new update comes a start button, Internet Explorer 11 powered by Bing search, and a few new built in apps – Food & Drink as well as Health & Fitness.
