Over the years, Bose has had their detractors, but they have also made some darn good products, such as the QuietComfort Noise Cancelling headphones and the SoundDock speakers. They have just introduced the new QuietComfort 20 Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones. These are Bose’s first in-ear headphones with active noise canceling. Bose says these can lock out the outside world with full-on noise reduction. Or you can choose what Bose calls Aware mode and let some of it in—all while keeping your headphones on. It helps make the earphones safe in an urban setting. The QuietComfort 20 comes in two versions: the 20 works with Android and Blackberry phones and the 20i is for Apple iDevices. Each version allows making and receiving calls. They include Bose’s proprietary StayHear+ ear tips and TriPort® technology with Active EQ to give music depth and balance. The QuietComfort 20 in-ear headphones are $299.95 US and will be available this summer.
