Messenger bags are my favorite style of gear bags. I carry one every day and am constantly on the look out for new brands and new ideas to make this style of bag even better than it already is. Enter the HALO ZERO, a Kickstarter project by the HALO Belt Company in collaboration with Rickshaw Bags.
“We wanted to design and create a product that made safety appealing to today’s generation. Not only does safety need to have functionality, it needs to be able to connect with society’s culture, lifestyle and personality” – Vincent Pilot Ng, Halo Belt Company Founder
This project takes a well respected messenger bag from Rickshaw and adds LED illumination for safety. The bags will be made in San Francisco and will accommodate up to a 13-15″ sized laptop. The HALO LED strip will be available in Red, Green, Blue and Yellow. It will be powered by two standard CR2025 batteries and will offer three modes of illumination; Strobe, Flash and Solid. Pledges start at $128 for a bag with one LED strip. The campaign to fund the HALO ZERO will end on March 8th, with bags ready for delivery in May, 2013.

I see your $130 bag and raise you the $11 marker that works on any bag. http://www.niteize.com/product/LED-Clip-On-Marker.asp

@andix Very nice! I was actually window shopping on that site this past weekend. I was looking at their LED flashlights though… Thanks for the post!
