e59c titanium strawThinkGeek never fails to impress me. Case in point – they are now offering a Titanium Straw for your beverage slurping enjoyment. Why would anyone need a titanium straw? Ummmm… because! This particular straw is made of food safe titanium that is 7″ long and has a 40 degree angle at one end. Now we just need a tiny brush thingy to clean it when it gets all goopy inside from constant Diet Coke consumption. The Titanium Straw is available now for $14.99

  2. Try disposable mascara wands – you can pick up 1 or 2 at nearly any makeup counter of a department store for free. 😉

  3. Wow, I am going to run out and buy one of these today. Like everyone else, I am drowning in disposable income to spend on a $15 drinking straw.

  4. My 2nd old granddaughter flattens plastic straws so they don’t work. This is tempting, but it might potentially harm her teeth. More practice with drinking from a cup is the safer choice.

I read some advice for travelers that recommended you always keep a straw in your bag in case you found yourself having to share water with your companions. If you used a straw instead of drinking directly from the container, you were supposedly exposed to fewer germs. A titanium straw would be strong enough to survive being carried around in a gear bag.

And as for cleaning it, I bet you could use pipe cleaners – those bendy, fuzzy things kindergarteners use for crafts.
