I finally sold the hacked Treo 650! It is currently winging its way to NYC as I type this. I was actually sorry to box it up as I’ve been using it as just a PDA for the past couple of weeks. Now I’m back to using the Dell X50v Pocket PC again along with my cheapy little Nokia phone. The Dell is certainly a nice PDA, but I keep going back and forth about buying another GSM Treo. There’s a lot to be said for having one device instead of two. And so far the Treo is the best PDA/Phone combo that I’ve come across.
In other news, I now have a Mac mini in my family. What a great little computer! It’s quiet as a mouse (much quieter than my iMac), and you can’t be the footprint. I was pretty surprised when I found out that it had speakers built into it! Not the best sound of course, but it works for me. Now to find some nifty accessories for this little guy.
