MSI builds the Venture line for people who work on their laptop all day and still want it to do more after hours. The new Venture 15 AI+ B3M is the first Venture built on Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 chips, and it pairs the top Core Ultra X7 358H with Intel’s Arc B390 integrated graphics, a 15.6-inch 144Hz screen, and a port layout that moves most of the cables to the back of the machine. MSI hasn’t announced a price or a sale date yet.

Intel’s newest chip, with a memory catch
Core Ultra X7 358H is the headline configuration. It runs up to 16 cores with P-core turbo up to 4.8 GHz, and its NPU handles up to 50 TOPS, which clears the bar for Copilot+ PC features in Windows 11. MSI’s AI Engine watches what you’re doing and shifts the machine between work, creation, meeting, and gaming modes on its own, and the redesigned Center S control app puts the settings in one place.
Arc B390 is the part that decides what this laptop can do without a separate graphics card, and it comes with a condition. MSI’s own footnote says the B390 configuration requires at least 16GB of LPDDR5x memory running at 7467 MT/s or faster in dual-channel mode. If a cheaper Venture configuration shows up with less memory or a single stick, it won’t be the same graphics story, so the memory spec is the line to check first when configurations go on sale.

Two fans, three heat pipes, and vents on four sides move the air, and MSI uses a phase-change thermal compound between the chips and the cooling hardware. Sustained performance in a thin business laptop lives or dies on its cooling, and this is a fuller setup than the single-fan designs still common in the class.
A screen split between color work and frame rates
The display is a 15.6-inch FHD panel at 1920×1080 with a 144Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB coverage. That pairing is the whole pitch in one part: full sRGB is what photo and design work needs to look right, and 144Hz is what makes games and scrolling feel smooth. Most business laptops make you pick one. MSI Matrix Display support also lets the laptop drive multiple external monitors in a desk setup.

The cables go around back
MSI moved a selected set of ports to the rear edge, so cables leave the desk instead of spreading across it. Around back you get HDMI 2.1 (4K at 60Hz), two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, and an RJ45 Ethernet jack. The front and sides carry a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port with DisplayPort and Power Delivery 3.0 charging from 45W to 100W, an audio combo jack, a DC-in barrel, and a Kensington lock slot.

Sign-in is a fingerprint reader with Windows Hello. Wi-Fi 6E handles wireless, storage is a PCIe Gen 4 SSD, and the speakers run DTS processing with Hi-Res Audio certification.
Six hours, under MSI’s own test conditions
Battery claims need their conditions printed, so here they are. MSI rates the Venture 15 AI+ at up to 6 hours in its own test: 1080p video playback in full screen, the panel set to 60Hz and 150 cd/m² brightness, Wi-Fi off, Eco-Silent mode on. A working day of documents, calls, and browser tabs will land somewhere else, and MSI’s own footnote says the same. Treat the 6 hours as a playback figure, not a workday promise.

If you need a 15-inch MSI today
Since the Venture isn’t on sale yet, the buyable stand-in from MSI’s own business line is the Modern 15 H. Amazon sells it as a bundle at $1,149.49: a Core 9 270H chip, 32GB of memory, a 15.6-inch FHD touchscreen, and storage split between a 1TB SSD and a 1TB docking-station drive set. You give up the 144Hz panel and the Arc B390 graphics, and you get a machine that ships now.

What MSI still owes is the price. The Venture 15 AI+ makes its case on integrated graphics doing creator work and mainstream gaming without a discrete GPU, and that case gets stronger or weaker depending on where the B390 configuration lands against thin laptops carrying an RTX 5050. When MSI prices it, that comparison is the one to run.
