Design and features
The Manker MC13 II SE Pocket Throw EDC Flashlight is a compact, stubby little flashlight that fits well in small spaces. There are three different light intensities and a bright strobe setting out of the box. I took a video of the different settings and you can find it down in the Performance section. There is only one focal length on the beam, so you can’t adjust the light throw.
They include a soft filter in the box that essentially turns your flashlight into a little lantern. My only issue with the soft filter is that it is very bright, even at the lowest setting.
Setup
USB-C charging via standard port protected by a rubber gasket.

Final thoughts
The Manker MC13 II SE is a nice little flashlight. There are a few features that I miss such as the ability to focus the beam and a very low power setting, but overall it’s a great little flashlight. It’s simple and well-built. The adaptability for different battery types is nice, but I don’t have a bunch of those battery types yet, so it’s not a big selling feature for me. As a solid flashlight, I feel like I can definitely rely on this to hold up to wear and abuse in my EDC kit, so I still recommend it, even if there are a few additions I would like to see.
What I like about the Manker MC13 II SE Pocket Throw EDC Flashlight
- Solid build
- The soft filter cover is a neat addition
- Very bright flashlight with a great throw
What needs to be improved?
- The lowest light setting needs to be lower, especially with the soft filter
