REVIEW – Most of what I wear these days is pretty casual, whether I’m working from home, going out to eat with my wife, or gaming with friends. For events like these and others, I typically wear sneakers. I’ve been testing the ST329 CMF sneakers from K-Swiss to see how well they fit with my (somewhat) active lifestyle.

Design and features
The design of the ST329 CMF sneakers features durability and support. The outsoles of these shoes, the part that comes in contact with the ground, are made from gum rubber, a natural rubber from the sap of a gum tree. They are durable and flexible, and they have a good grip.
The midsoles, the part between the outsoles and the liner, is made from compression molded EVA (CMEVA), and they are designed to be lightweight while providing good shock absorption.
The thick liners, the part the feet rest upon, are made from memory foam and provide cushion and comfort.
The entire shoe is brought together with solid leather uppers that are breathable.
When it comes to shoes, beauty is often in the eye of the beholder, but I like the way they look. They are definitely casual but some of the colors can be business casual as well. Most of ST329 CMFs are predominantly white, a color that gets dirty way too easily for my taste, but they also have browns, grays, and blacks.
Assembly, Installation, Setup
These shoes come pre-laced, so all I needed to do was remove the extra packaging, put them on, pull the strings tight, and tie them. I found a lot of comments on Amazon saying that K-Swiss sneakers run a half size small, but others said they run true. I ordered a 10.5, as that is the normal size for me. These shoes are, unfortunately, small for me; my big toes rubbed on the insides more than normal. They are wearable but slightly uncomfortable, so I will probably donate them to someone else. Before ordering the ST329 CMF online, I recommend trying on a pair at your local shoe store; I would have moved up to size 11 if I had done that.
Performance
As I wore these shoes out and about, I would say that my number one description of them is that they are solid and sturdy. It’s not like they’re work boots or something, but they give my feet a real sense of stability. Sure, they’re a lot heavier than my HOKAs, but they are also a lot sturdier. I never feel like my ankles are going to role or my feet are going to slip out from under me.
The ST329 CMFs are comfortable; they are not a comfortable as a cushy pair of running shoes, but they are comfortable enough to wear all day, which I did several times. I was unsure if I would like the memory foam liners, but it turns out that I do. They are soft without being squishy.
These shoes appear to be very well made. There’s a lot of double stitching on top, and nothing looks to be shoddy or loose. Of course, only time will tell how well they hold together, but I would expect them to last a long time.
These K-Swiss sneakers are versatile. They are great for shopping and eating out, for playing pickleball or a game of horse, or for lounging around the house.
Final thoughts
The K-Swiss ST329 CMF sneakers are versatile tennis shoes designed for a wide variety of activities. They are a pair of solid shoes that provide plenty of support while still being comfortable enough for all day wear. These shoes run a half size small, so I recommend trying on a pair at your local retailer before purchasing online. Once you get your size dialed in, K-Swiss has 21 different color schemes to help you get the look you want. I’ve been wearing these shoes a lot lately, and I really like them.
